New Lego Marvel Sets Launching in December 2024

Lego have unveiled three new Marvel sets – all due to ship from December 1st. The new sets include a play-set, BrickHeadz, and a buildable figure! These new sets are based on the upcoming Captain America Brave New World film (Premiering on 14th February 2025).

  • 76292 – Captain America vs. Red Hulk Battle – £49.99 / $54.99 / €54.99
  • 40668 – Captain America & Red Hulk Figures – £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99
  • 76296 – New Captain America Construction Figure – £29.99 / $34.99 / €34.99
76292 – Captain America vs. Red Hulk Battle – £49.99 / $54.99 / €54.99

Coming in at 223 pieces set #76292 contains 3 Minifigures and one ‘Big-Fig’ rendition of Red Hulk.

Don’t let the low part count fool you – Captain America vs. Red Hulk Battle is chock full of play features.

Whilst the set does contain an exclusive ‘Bigfig’ version of Red Hulk – the £49.99 / $54.99 / €54.99 price tag feels like quite a lot. This set seems to be positioning itself as a play set (due to the play features and Minifigures), however, I think the price will turn away a lot of parents.

I see the biggest selling point of this set being the Minifigures (Captain America, Falcon, Ruth Bat-Seraph, and Red Hulk)

40668 – Captain America & Red Hulk Figures – £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99

On the more affordable scale, this wave of releases also includes a new BrickHeadz set. When compared to the 223 piece count of Captain America vs. Red Hulk, 202 pieces for £17.99 is refreshing for Lego.

Priced at a comfortable £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99 – Captain America & Red Hulk Figures does what it says on the tin. There’s not much to say about this set other than they’re ‘BrickHeadz’ renditions of the new Captain America and Red Hulk. If you’re a fan of Marvel and a fan of BrickHeadz, this should be a no brainer.

Whilst I’m not the biggest Marvel fan, I must admit, I’m tempted to add this set to my collection. I can’t remember the last time we have had a BrickHeadz as unique and garish as Red Hulk!

76296 – New Captain America Construction Figure – £29.99 / $34.99 / €34.99

Last but not least we have a new Marvel Construction Figure. These types of sets are essentially Lego’s answer to action figures. The builds are posable and usually include multiple play-features.

For £29.99 / $34.99 / €34.99 you receive 359 pieces which combine to create a figure that stands over 28 cm (11 in.) tall. The figure has movable shoulder, arm, hip and leg joints, which enable realistic action poses.

Due to the Technic connections in the wings – they can be bent to mimic flapping. They can also be removed if you’d prefer you figure not to have them.
The set also includes Captain America’s iconic shield and a buildable Redwing drone (which can also be removed for play)

At a more more affordable £29.99 / $34.99 / €34.99 – I could see 76296 – New Captain America Construction Figure being a hit with parents and kids over the holidays.

What are your thoughts on Lego’s latest Marvel wave? Will you be pre-ordering any of these sets or waiting for their release (December 1st 2024).
