Lego Unveils New Botanical Sets for 2025

,

Lego has announced that its going to release four new Botanical themed sets including 10342 Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet; 10343 Mini Orchid; 10344 Lucky Bamboo; 10345 Flower Arrangement. Alongside the new releases is Lego’s decision to finally make The Botanical Collection it’s own stand-alone Lego theme!
All the sets are coming soon on January 1st 2025 with the exception of 10345 Flower Arrangement which is set to debut on February 1st 2025.

The new Botanical have a wide range of prices – ranging from £24.99 to £94.99 (The most expensive Botanical set yet!). I’m glad to see Lego continuing their ‘Mini’ Botanical range by adding the Mini Orchid and Lucky Bamboo.

The new sets fit perfectly alongside 10368 Chrysanthemum and 10369 Plum Blossom. Those who know a little about Chinese art or horticulture, might recognise this foursome as the ‘Four Gentlemen / Four Noble Ones’. These four plants are commonly depicted in Chinese art due to their use as symbols for virtues (uprightness, purity, humility, and perseverance).

10342 Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet – £54.99 / $59.99 / €59,99 – 749 Pieces

Releasing January 1st 2025 the Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet is continuing Lego’s trend of Botanical Bouquets.
The set features 15 buildable flower stems, including daisies, cornflowers, eucalyptus, elderflowers, roses, ranunculus, cymbidium orchids, a campanula and a waterlily dahlia.

All the stems are adjustable!

10343 Mini Orchid – £24.99 / $29.99 / €29,99 – 274 Pieces

Releasing January 1st – 10343 Mini Orchid is the first of Lego’s smaller Botanical Sets being released next year. The set contains deceptively few pieces (only 274), however, it makes up for this with the inclusion of several larger elements!

10344 Lucky Bamboo – £24.99 / $29.99 / €29,99 – 325 Pieces

Personally this is my favourite new Botanical release! The cylindrical bamboo stalks work perfectly in Lego form and I love the grey pebbles that fill up the pot. As with Lego’s other smaller plants – 10344 Lucky bamboo also comes with a cute brick-built stand.

10345 Flower Arrangement – £94.99 / $109.99 / €109,99 – 1,161 Pieces

10345 Flower Arrangement (releasing February 2025) sits somewhere between a bouquet and the four smaller plant sets. Whilst this set does have a brick-built base and pot, its also stuffed full of individual flowers!

The Flower Arrangement is set to be Lego’s most expensive Botanical set yet (£94.99 / $109.99 / €109,99). However for this price you get 1,161 pieces and a final build that stands over 10 in. (26 cm) high, 12.5 in. (31 cm) wide and 9 in. (23 cm) deep!

The Lego flowers are customisable and the set includes 14 flowers (camellias, peonies, hydrangeas, baby’s breath, ranunculus, bouvardia and lilies).

The unique pin system allows the flower’s heads to be removed and swapped for heads from other Lego Botanical sets! This lets you customise your arrangement endlessly and I love the backwards compatibility with previous Botanical sets. Despite the price-tag I could see myself buying multiple sets or trying to build another out of extra bricks.

As stated above all these beautiful botanical sets release next year on January 1st, with the exception of the Flower Arrangement which releases February 1st 2025.
