Gift Gide: Best Lego Star Wars sets 2024

The holidays are right around the corner and that means gifts! Whether they’re for yourself or others, we’ve organised Lego’s Star Wars offering to help you find the perfect gift.

Stocking Stuffers (Gifts under £12)

It can sometimes be hard to find cheaper Lego gifts as Lego seems bent on releasing larger and larger sets. Despite this there are still some sneaky small sets up for grabs. My choices this year are as follows.

40675 – Clone Commander Cody – £9.99 / $9.99 / €9,99

The Commander Cody BrickHeadz is a great small gift for any Star Wars clones fan. Alternatively if they already have this one, you could buy 40615 – Tusken Raider.

75391 Captain Rex Microfighter – £11.99 / $12.99 / €12,99

Lego Microfighters are all about the Minifigure, and Captain Rex’s Y-Wing is no different. The set is expected to retire sometime next year and you can never have too many Minifigures!

For The Minifigure Lover

Lego has been making Minifigures since 1978! Since then the Minifigure has gone on to become as iconic as the red Lego brick. It’s no wonder then, that for some people, Lego is all about the figures.

75389 – The Dark Falcon – £159.99 / $179.99 / €179,99

When it comes to Minifigures the Dark Falcon is my hands-down winner. Each character is unique and exclusive to this set and its unlikely we will see another Darth Jar Jar anytime soon!

For The Army Builders

closely related to the Minifigure lovers, are the Army Builders, swapping exclusivity for quantity! This Year I think Lego has two standout army building sets and something for both prequel and original trilogy fans.

40755 – Imperial Dropship vs. Rebel Scout Speeder – £34.99 / $39.99 / €39,99

Starting off with the Original Trilogy – we have a Rebel and Stormtrooper battle pack. Whilst a little pricey you do receive 6 Minifigures plus an exclusive QT-KT droid figure. If you’re not a fan of the droid (or already have loads) it’s selling for roughly £13 / $13 on Bricklink.
As a bonus I think the two builds included are quite cool and are something you could also collect.

75372 – Clone Trooper™ & Battle Droid™ Battle Pack – £24.99 / $29.99 / €29,99

If Clones and Droids are more your speed – Lego has you covered. This battle pack comes with a Clone Shock Trooper, 3 Clone Troopers, 3 Super Battle Droids, and 2 B1 Battle Droids.
If that’s not enough the builds are also great, with a Clone Speeder bike, STAP Speeder, and Tri-droid. Definitely a must-have for prequel fans!

Best Overall Gift Sets

Still stuck on what to get? Here are our last suggestions!

75354 – Coruscant Guard Gunship – £129.99 / $139.99 / €149,99

Whilst on the more expensive side the Palpatine, Commander Fox, and Padme Minifigures are exclusive to this set.

75377 – Invisible Hand – £46.99 / $49.99 / €52,99

The Invisible Hand makes a great display piece. I think the Starship Collection can be quite dividing among fans to maybe check if your gift recipient already has some!

Lego Gift Card

Still stuck? There’s always gift cards! Lego’s gift cards don’t expire but if you want a physical one to arrive before Christmas, make sure you order by December 13th.
