The LEGO Group have released their latest Gift with Purchase – 40722 Celebration Series: 3. Luminous Ghost. If you’re wondering about the name, this spooky set joins LEGO’s year long celebration series. The previous entry was 40759 Celebration Series: 2. Valentine’s Day Box. Judging by the release dates and themes, I think it’s likely that we’ll see a Christmas / winter celebration series set before the end of the year.
Fans who spend over £110 / $120 / €120 on LEGO.com or at their local LEGO Store before 7th October 2025 can expect to receive the ghostly gift!
Following on from last year’s Halloween GWP (40697 Halloween Pumpkin), this 167 piece set also contains a light brick. It’s nice to see LEGO continuing the tradition of including a light brick as they haven’t seen a lot of use lately.
As you can see from the box art and promotional images, 40772 Luminous Ghost builds a cute ghost with chains, a pumpkin, and a black bat. The Ghosts’ arms appear to use ball and socket joints so should be fully poseable. Perfect for scary poses.
With the gift promotion running until the 7th of October now is a great time to stock up on seasonal Halloween sets! If you wanted to hit the gift threshold of £110 you could buy the new 31167 Haunted Mansion (£79.99) and the new 40825 Halloween Wreath (£34.99) for example.
