Pre-Order the Latest Lego Star Wars Encyclopedia featuring Exclusive Palpatine Minifigure!

UK based retailer WHSmith has given us a first look at the new and updated Lego Star Wars Character Encyclopedia 2025. Retailing for £16.99 those looking to pre-order can receive a special discounted price of £15.97!

The new book from DK publishing is also available to pre-order on Amazon.co.uk for £16.99 and Amazon.com for $21.99. (Affiliate Links)

Both WHSmith and Amazon UK show the Hardback book as shipping on April 17th 2025 – However, Amazon US shows a shipping date of April 1st.

The new Encyclopedia features over 200 Lego Star Wars Minifigures including figures from The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and The Bad Batch – alongside your usual Star Wars favourites like Luke and Vader.

However, a key selling point of DK’s Lego books is the exclusive Lego Minifigure that comes with them. 2025’s new release is no different, featuring an exclusive Emperor Palpatine figure. I have to saw I’m a fan of this rendition of Palpatine. This is the first time we’ve seen him in a mix of red senatorial robe and black Sith robe.

I can see this Minifigure becoming quite collectable like previous Minifigures included in DK books. I recently picked up the new edition of DK’s LEGO® Minifigure A Visual History. This great hardback features an exclusive orange spaceman Minifigure! This book is available now for nearly 50% off at Amazon. I’d highly recommend picking it up as it’s a great journey through Lego Minifigure history – right from the first figure in 1974 through to 2020!
