LEGO Minifigure Series 29 has been officially announced by LEGO. The new collectable series is due to launch on 1st May 2026 – featuring 12 new unique LEGO minifigures.

Like previous series, this edition will come in blind mystery boxes with a random character. Although if you’re not a fan of hunting for a specific character there is typically a way you can scan the box to find out what’s inside. Additionally, the minifigures tend to end up on Bricklink very quickly.

Prices have remained at the same level of £3.49 / $4.99 / €3,99 which is a nice bonus.

There’s a great amount of variety in series 29 and definitely something for everyone. Especially compared to the prevous series which was all LEGO minifigures in animal costumes.

For me the stand-out LEGO minifigures are the Monster Hunter, Tuba Player, and the Bionicle Cosplayer. You could easily create a full LEGO marching band by swapping out the Tuba Player’s instrument. Additionally it’s just so cool to see a Bionicle mask in minifigure size!

What do you think of the LEGO Group’s latest collectible minifigure series? Who’s you’re favourite? Let us know in the comments below!
